Green Organics Pest Control’s Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

In the video below I’m going to cover some of Green Organics Pest Control’s most frequently asked questions (faqs) when it comes to our pest control service.

The Video Below Answers the Most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Green Organics Pest Control

We have it broken down by initial visit and follow up visit.

Green Organics Pest Control FAQs Service Inside & Out

On our initial visit we do inside and out. The things we do on the inside are more preventative maintenance. We also use food grade Diatomaceous Earth (DE) as one of the products.

If you are not familiar with food grade diatomaceous earth, it is the ground up, fossilized, shell of a former sea creature called a diatom. Food grade just describes the type we use. This is the same stuff that would be sold as a food supplement if it were not labeled for pest control.

The other thing we do on the inside is place small pieces of weatherstripping to help close up gaps in the bottom corners of doors. Places where most likely bugs are coming in from the outside. We will also adjust the threshold so it’s meeting the door so insects and pests do not wander in from outside.

Outside we knock down spider webs around doors and windows. Places where spiders are most likely to come in from outside.

Next, we’ll spray or use a granular product on the outside for the main portion of the service. This depends on several factors:

3 Factors Determine What is  Used for Your Service

1. The type of landscape you have
2. The types of pests you currently have or don’t want to have
3. The type of weather we are expecting

Those 3 factors make a big difference on what should be used for your service.

Lastly, we will put out a bait for pests such as ants, roaches, and crickets…and for other bugs that are non predators.

How long the service take?
The initial service takes between 1 and 2 hours depending on the size of the house. Our ongoing visits are typically exterior only unless you are having a particular problem on the inside. We shouldn’t need to redo the inside of the house on every visit.

How often is our on going service?
While most companies have a monthly service, our ongoing service is every other month because the products last longer, so there’s no reason to reapply them as often. If there is a problem between services, we will be more than happy to come and take care of them at no extra charge (we like going the extra mile for our clients).
